What is Worship?

There are many ways that worship could be defined; this is the way we understand worship:

~ Worship is our communal experience of the Mystery and Grace of God.
~ Worship is praising, confessing, proclaiming, praying and responding.
~ Worship is listening for the Word of God.
~ Worship is continually seeking transformation through the power of the Holy Spirit for discipleship and mission with Jesus Christ as Savior, teacher and hope.

We joyfully welcome all seekers of God’s grace.

What to Expect

Our two primary services are at 8:30 and 11:00 each Sunday morning. The same message is given at both services, but the choirs and musical offerings vary each Sunday. Our hymns come from the United Methodist Hymnal, The Faith We Sing, as well as contemporary, independent and emerging resources.

We follow the traditional church calendar for the seasons of the Christian year, often reflected in the themes of the services, the readings and music. The colors of the paraments (linens on the tables, lectern and pulpit) also reflect those seasons.

A nursery is provided for any child 5 years old or younger, but all children are welcome in worship.  We also provide an alternative worship experience for children called Kingdom Express during the 11:00 service.
