Sunday School

Location:  Education Building across the street from our main building

Beginning June 4th, all children, youth, and their families are invited to join us on a special journey this summer at 9:45 each Sunday in the Chapel of the Ed. Building.  This is a great time for all families to come together during the summer for a special Sunday School experience!

Children will experience a weekly adventure through the Bible with the “Deep Blue” children’s curriculum from Cokesbury.  Each of the classes has two dedicated and loving teachers to help nurture your child’s faith and to introduce them to the amazing love, power and mercy of our God.

1st – 6th Grade:  Sunday Circuit
Sunday Circuit is based on a rotation Sunday school model.  Each month your child will experience one major story from the Bible.  On the first Sunday, all will be together to experience the introduction of the story, getting all the basics that will prepare them for the coming weeks.  During the last three weeks of the month, children will be separated into age groups to plumb more depth from the stories by approaching them with a different focus (including science, cooking, puppets, and art).  Our goal is to embed these important stories deep within the heart and mind of your child. The focus for the next few months are:
   May The Great Commission
June-August – The Journey – see details above.
With separate classes for Mid-High and Senior High, your youth will be experiencing lessons designed to help them continue to grow in faith as they become more and more independent.  Our goal is to help you prepare them for both the positive experiences and the challenges they will face in the world.

  • Cornerstone:  Focus on a deeper understanding of God’s Word and applying it in daily life.
  • Family Matters:  Family-oriented, Biblically –  inspired topical discussion.
  • Koinonia:  Studying the Word of God in partnership and fellowship with one another.
